  1. Hey, Alch, Lord-Ice here. I'd like to ask you to help me with an experiment. It will take a bit of time (some more, some less, depending on the level of activity between the two of us). The experiment has to do with the effectiveness of space energy-type procs and effects compared to others. The test, if performed correctly, would comprehensively discern the quality of energy types (a task that would clearly require two people). If you are interested, my Skype name is theomegaxx.
The test would proceed as follows: On Tribble, the leveling-up of two characters (one each) with identical traits. Once maxed, we would use the same ship (open to negotiation, I'm thinking the Sovereign) with the same skills (save the testing Tetryon and Polaron, where we would alternate between maxed Flow Caps and Power Insulators to discern how much of a difference they make), the same equipment (base items) and no BOffs slotted (both to prevent clearing the procs and to prevent BOff traits from altering any results). We would then proceed to test each weapon type ten (10) times (to ensure consistent results) in private duels to the death. After the testing, we would compile the results (total number of procs, average proc rate, proc effectiveness and overall energy type effectiveness) and post it as both a spreadsheet and a video (definitely trimmed down... a lot, maybe 1 kill per energy test). This would, in total, entail 420 total fights after the character maxing, scheduled however need be. However, this would also create a totally comprehensive space proc analysis, which could be used by the devs for balance passes.
Feel free to decline; I realize that this will be incredibly time and effort intensive. But, your efforts would be GREATLY appreciated.
